The Maine Girls' Academy / Admission Process / Portland, Maine

Admission to The Maine Girls’ Academy is open to all young women who are seeking a challenging college preparatory program. Candidates are reviewed through the High School Placement Test at MGA (eighth graders only), completion of the application and submission of the school transcript with recommendations from the principal or guidance counselor, as well as English and math teachers.

Once a student has fulfilled each step and has had her completed file reviewed by the Admission Committee, the student then qualifies for acceptance to The Maine Girls’ Academy.
